We want to thank you for your continued support of Bethel United Methodist Church and what God has done and is continuing to do with and through this church.  This year we have had 10 people join by profession of faith, and 4 people who have joined by transfer of membership.  Praise God!  We continue to be a place where people grow in their relationship with God, and with each other.  This Fall we have continued with Sunday School for 3 years through 12th grade, and working to add an adult Sunday School Class (hopefully starting December 7th).  Out of dreaming of what could be, after seeing the necessity to make changes from years past, we overhauled our Wednesday activities this Fall, to include a meal, worship, activities, confirmation, and Jr. High/HS Youth Group twice a month.  We have continued with Mini Bells, Mini Choir, Cherub Choir, JuBELLee Ringers, and Chancel Choir while starting a Sunday School Choir (for children 4th grade and above on Sundays).  We continue to be a resource for our community with Ruby’s Pantry, and Prayer Room Pantry seeing significant increase in usage in the month of November.   All of this while having 3 worship services each week: 8am & 10:30am on Sundays, and 5:50pm Wednesdays.

However, I’m writing this to ask you to prayerfully consider what you can give this month to help us meet our end of the year expenses and to replace the funds that we have used throughout this year.  We estimate that we need $65,000 this month in order to do this.  This may seem like a large amount but every dollar helps us make our goal.  We will make a nativity scene on the bulletin board in the fellowship hall and for every $1,000 given we will add a piece to it.  I look forward to continuing the ministry that God has called us to as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.
